Chapman Freeborn is enhancing its cargo services by leveraging the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS) to streamline billing for scheduled carriers. CASS, utilized by over 200 airlines and agents, ensures a 100% on-time settlement rate and replaces traditional paper invoicing with electronic processes, improving financial control and cash flow. Reto Hunziker, President of Europe at Chapman Freeborn, highlights that the new system allows booking with various carriers and complements existing services such as pickups and dangerous goods handling.
