BNSF Railway and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) have announced the ratification of a new five-year collective bargaining agreement, ensuring enhanced pay, healthcare, and vacation for union members. This agreement includes a 3.5% average wage increase annually and improved vacation benefits. BNSF President Katie Farmer emphasized the importance of collaboration with railroad workers for providing exceptional service. The agreement marks a significant milestone as it was settled without a recommendation from a Presidential Emergency Board and before the previous contract’s expiration.
