In 2024, Changi Airport processed 1.99 million tonnes of air cargo, marking a 15% increase from 2023, reflecting strong electronics exports and a shift from ocean to air freight. The cargo volume fell just short of the two-million-tonne target by 6,000 tonnes. Passenger movements also rose by 15% to 67.7 million, nearly matching pre-pandemic levels. The airport welcomed 11 new city links and two new freighter airlines, enhancing its connectivity. Looking ahead, Changi Airport Group aims to further expand its infrastructure to meet rising air travel demand.
