Ericsson is enhancing its 300,000-square-foot factory in Lewisville, Texas, investing $50 million over two years to bolster supply chain resilience amidst potential tariffs under President Trump. This facility, operational since 2020, focuses on manufacturing 5G technology and advanced antenna systems, with nearly all new basebands and radios for major U.S. operators produced there. CEO Börje Ekholm emphasized the need for a resilient supply chain, and CFO Lars Sandström noted the company’s global production flexibility, which helps adapt to changing U.S. trade policies.
