Emirates SkyCargo, in partnership with Allied Transport Company, is set to enhance its trucking fleet by introducing hydrogen-powered trucks, expected to be operational by Q1 2026. This initiative aims to reduce CO2 emissions and improve air quality while maintaining cargo capacity, as the trucks can carry up to 28 tonnes. Refueling will occur at two hydrogen stations in Dubai, allowing for a range of 700 km. Both companies emphasize their commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact, aligning with broader initiatives under Emirates’ Environmental Sustainability Framework.
