Kuehne+Nagel plans to acquire Eastway Global Forwarding, an aerospace logistics provider based in Ireland, to enhance its position in the global aerospace market. Eastway, with operations in 130 countries, specializes in time-critical AOG services, aircraft engine logistics, and customs brokerage. This acquisition aligns with Kuehne+Nagel’s growth strategy in the fast-expanding aerospace sector, projected to increase significantly by 2034. The deal, pending regulatory approval, is expected to finalize by the end of 2025, making Eastway a fully owned subsidiary.
