Smaller parcel carriers are enhancing their networks in anticipation of a surge in shipping volumes as the holiday season approaches. Companies like Veho, Jitsu, and Gofo are investing in increased processing capacity and expanding their facilities. Veho is boosting its capacity in 15 cities, including major hubs, while Jitsu has added over 100,000 square feet in key markets and improved its warehouse management systems. Gofo has opened a large “Super Hub” in New Jersey, aimed at efficiently handling peak demand. These expansions reflect the growing competition against larger carriers like FedEx and UPS.
