A delegation from the Ethiopian Freight Forwarders and Shipping Agents Association (EFFSAA) recently visited the UK, hosted by the British International Freight Association (BIFA). This visit, following a May 2025 Memorandum of Understanding, aimed to modernize Ethiopia’s freight and logistics sector through training and knowledge sharing. Delegates engaged with BIFA leadership, explored operational standards and sustainable practices, and attended a Transaid Showcase. BIFA’s training team presented its courses as models for Ethiopian development, while both organizations committed to enhancing Ethiopia’s logistics competitiveness, supported by UK agencies.
