Air Algérie has received its first Airbus A330-900, a pivotal step in modernizing its long-haul fleet and enhancing its collaboration with Airbus. This aircraft will facilitate the airline’s expansion from Algiers, allowing for new transatlantic and Asian routes. Air Algérie plans to acquire seven more A330neo aircraft, making it Africa’s largest operator of this model, which promises improved performance, efficiency, and passenger comfort. The A330neo features a three-class cabin and advanced amenities. Additionally, Air Algérie will enhance its maintenance capabilities and training for the A330neo aircraft.
