AGI Cargo has renewed its freighter ground handling partnership with LATAM Cargo at Miami International Airport (MIA) for another five years, extending their collaboration since 2015. The new contract, effective from June 2026 to 2031, involves managing approximately 5,400 freighter flights annually, with expected growth in air cargo demand. AGI’s CEO, Jared Azcuy, emphasized the company’s commitment to safety and service excellence, highlighting over $10 million invested in safety improvements at MIA. This partnership is crucial for facilitating cargo movement between North and South America.
