Air cargo IT specialist allivate has launched a new digital product called “Easy Transit” at Frankfurt Airport, designed to facilitate the EU NCTS5 transit procedure. This product is available through the Cargo Community System FAIR@Link and addresses stricter customs requirements affecting over a quarter of imported freight at the airport. “Easy Transit” eliminates the need for manual data entry by allowing users to upload AWB numbers, which automatically populates necessary information in customs software. The service is already integrated into DAKOSY’s ZODIAK software, with plans to connect additional customs providers.
