Every year, approximately 50 employees at APM Terminals Moín in Costa Rica complete Lean training, enhancing their career opportunities and benefiting the terminal and nation. One notable employee, Carlos Hernández Moraga, known as Calin, joined as a truck driver but was inspired to pursue crane operation after discovering his interest in the field. His dedication to the Lean methodology led him to become a sought-after trainer internationally. Motivated by community potential and his son’s aspirations, Calin reflects on the limitless opportunities available through hard work and self-confidence.
