Delta Air Lines is investing up to $18 million to develop a modern air cargo hub at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) in collaboration with the Utah Inland Port Authority and Salt Lake City. This new facility, set to open in 2027, will replace Delta’s current cargo space and enhance operational efficiency with features such as extensive warehousing, refrigerated storage, and cold-chain capabilities for sensitive goods. This project, part of Delta’s broader expansion at SLC, aims to support local businesses and strengthen global connections.
