GMR Hyderabad International Airport handled 180,914 metric tonnes of cargo in 2024, a 22% increase from the previous year, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. The airport has received accolades for cargo import efficiency and has expanded its infrastructure to meet demand, including a new Cargo Terminal 2. CEO Pradeep Panicker emphasized their commitment to improving capacity and service as they strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a global cargo hub.
