Kale Logistics Solutions has partnered with CKTS Company Limited to automate customs clearance at Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan, using its GALAXY cargo management system. This system replaces manual data entry, reducing delays and duplication of work. The initial phase has automated shipment triggering and document acceptance, with further phases planned to enhance efficiency, including the introduction of handheld terminals for real-time reporting. GALAXY, utilized in over 100 airports globally, improves airport operations and is gaining traction in Japan’s ground handling sector.
