This includes vessel reflagging, local partnerships, and improved port infrastructure aimed at bolstering multimodal connectivity. Maersk has established a new entity in Gujarat, flagged two vessels under the Indian flag, and is collaborating with local shipyards for maintenance. Furthermore, it is exploring local container manufacturing and partnering with educational institutions to develop a skilled maritime workforce.
