SSO Logistics in St Helens has secured a seven-figure investment from Irish Freight Solutions (IFS) and Allied Fleet Services (AFS), aimed at enhancing their operations. CEO Peter Draper emphasized the partnership will leverage existing contacts to improve freight transit to Ireland, aligning with strategic growth plans. IFS, founded in 2019, has seen rapid growth, while AFS has become a leading customs service post-Brexit. Both companies recognize the potential of collaborating with SSO to enhance logistics solutions across the UK and Europe, especially from their freeport base in the North West.
