Vital Farms appointed Joe Holland as the chief supply chain officer, a new position effective September 1, as announced in an August 20 press release. Holland will oversee the diversified supply chain team, which includes the egg washing and packing facility in Springfield, Missouri, and future operations in Seymour, Indiana, alongside the company’s dairy ventures. He takes over responsibilities from former COO Jason Dale, who will transition to an advisory role. Holland brings over 25 years of experience from roles at Curaleaf, Dean Foods, Cadbury Schweppes, and Ventura Foods. CEO Russell Diez-Canseco expressed confidence in Holland’s ability to enhance supply chain innovation and resilience.
